1 August 1997

At 08:15 am  this date, an employee of the Royal Bank in Cookstown arrived for work. She entered the bank and was confronted by two males already inside the bank. One male had a sawed off shotgun while the other was armed with a knife.

The employee was questioned and threatened with death if she lied. As the other employee's arrived they were taken to the back room and questioned. The suspects knew about bait money and the bait money list. The suspects were in contact with a third person outside by way of a radio. Some employees were tied up and locked in the vault. The others were locked in the washroom. The money was stuffed in a blue nylon duffel bag. The suspects fled in an unknown direction of travel.

One suspect mentioned he had been in Canada for 14 yrs. The younger suspect said he was married with three children. One called the other "Bill or Phil". It is unknown how accurate this information is.

1. Male, white, mid 30's, 140 to 160 lbs, slight build, large nose, gold rimmed wire safety glasses, blue nylon track suit, dark blue sweatshirt with horizontal stripes, black and white running shoes, spoke with an European accent

2. Male, white, 40 to 50 yrs, 6', brown eyes, large nose, dark green track suit with gold "Canada" on the front

29 January 1996

On this date in Bradford, one suspect may have robbed two adjacent stores at gunpoint.

At about 10:00 am a suspect entered the Fresh Food Convenience at 304 Holland Street West. He pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded cash. He fled on foot.

At about 10:06 am a similar suspect entered the Becker's Store at 166 Holland Street West. Again, he pointed a gun at the clerk, demanded cash and fled on foot

1. Male, white, med build, 178-183 cm, no accent, light coloured jogging suit, light coloured jacket, black balaclava and running shoes.

30 June 1994

At about 11:40 pm three Vietnamese males forced their way into an apartment at 27 Centre Street in Bradford. They produced a small, dark silver handgun. The victim was bound, gagged and her phone line was cut. The suspects took jewellery, bank cards, money and a key to the apartment. After they left the victim was able to break free and went to a neighbouring apartment to call police.

30 June 1994

At about 3:20 pm a lone suspect entered the Bank of Nova Scotia on Holland Street West in Bradford. He handed the teller a note saying he had a gun. He received an undetermined amount of cash and fled east on Holland Street. No vehicle was seen.

1. Male, early 30's, 5'7', 140 lbs, short hair longer at back, unshaven

1 March 1991

At 9:35 am, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Lefroy was robbed as employees were opening the building. Two males, driving a skidoo snowmobile, approached the employees, they grabbed a briefcase containing a large amount of money and fled east on Killarney Beach Road on the snowmobile. They drove onto the ice of Lake Simcoe and south to Gilford where they abandoned the snowmobile. The snowmobile was later recovered.

Descriptions:

Both subjects are believed to be male, white, 160 lbs, 5'7" and were wearing helmets with full face shields. One helmet had a green horizontal stripe. One suspect was wearing black or dark clothing the other a dark jacket with navy blue pants.

5 October 1975

At about 7:45 pm two young boys were walking south on the west side of the 25th Sideroad in Innisfil. About a half mile south of the 9th Concession they were struck from behind by a vehicle also heading south. The driver didn't stop.

Fourteen year old Gerry Crane was left dead in the west ditch. Gerry's friend was also injured but because they were hit from behind, was not able to provide any clues.
