Identification Unit
The identification officer photographs and/or videotapes crime scenes, lifts fingerprints, footprints and any other prints or marks.
The Idenification Unit provides technical assistance to investigators and prosecutors as needed in a wide range of criminal activity.
From operational tasks such as documentation and collection/analysis of physical evidence, this unit provides a valuable resource to our team here at the South Simcoe Police Service.
