Drug Trafficking Arrest
(Innisfil, ON) On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, around 2:00 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Service constable was patrolling Alcona when he saw a teenage girl walking down the street with an open alcoholic beverage. When he stopped to speak to her, she revealed that she also had illicit drugs with her. A search discovered a quantity of marijuana and cocaine along with drug paraphernalia.
A 17 year old Innisfil girl has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine), Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Marijuana), Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana.
She was released to a parent on a curfew condition and will appear in court in September.
Drive Under Suspension
(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, around 12:45 a.m., a patrolling constable from the South Simcoe Police Service stopped a car in Bradford. The driver's licence was under suspension. A 26 year old woman from Bradford will be in court in September, charged with Drive Under Suspension. Her car was impounded for 7 days.
(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, South Simcoe Police Service officers set up a R.I.D.E. spot check in Bradford. Around 2:00 a.m., a driver came to the spot check. A odour of alcohol was noted and a Roadside Screening Devise Test was conducted, resulting in a WARN. A 33 year old man had his driver's licence suspended for 3 days.
