(Innisfil, ON) On Wednesday, July 12, 2017, just after midnight, South Simcoe Police Service officers responded to a rural Innisfil address for an assault call. Investigators learned that two men, residents of the home, were engaged in an argument when one pushed the other from behind, causing him to fall and become injured.
A 59 year old Innisfil man was charged with Assault. He was ordered to find another place to live while avoiding the victim. He will appear in court in August. The victim did not require medical attention.
Breach Of Recognizance
(Innisfil, ON) In May, South Simcoe Police Service officers arrested and charged a man for squatting in an Innisfil cottage boathouse. The man entered into a recognizance of bail and was ordered by a Justice of the Peace to stay away from the address and to reside at an approved residence.
On July 11, 2017, South Simcoe Police Service officers were called to the home as the intruder had returned. He was also absent from his approved address on two occasions. The 38 year old man was arrested and held for a bail hearing on two charges of Fail To Comply-Recognizance.
(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, July 11, 2017, a Bradford resident called the South Simcoe Police Service. She came back to her Britannia Avenue home around dinner time to find spray painted graffiti on her deck. Two spray paint cans were located at the scene and submitted for fingerprinting.
Britannia Avenue residents are asked to review surveillance camera footage for the afternoon hours.
