Assault

(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, April 8, 2017 around 2:30 a.m., South Simcoe Police responded to a fight call at Simcoe Road and Holland Street in Bradford. Once on scene, they found a 29 year old man being treated by paramedics for minor head injuries. The victim told officers that he was jumped by a group of people after exiting a licenced establishment and beaten about the head.

Surveillance tapes are being reviewed. Alcohol is believed to have played a part in this incident.

Theft From Auto

(Bradford, ON) On Saturday, April 8, 2017, a Bradford resident called South Simcoe Police to report a theft from his truck. The man told officers that he had parked his truck in his West Park driveway and tools were stolen from the box overnight.

Break and Enter

(Bradford, ON) On Sunday, April 9, 2017, South Simcoe Police were called to a home on 5 Sideroad, between Holland Street West and the 9th Line for a break and enter. The victim recently purchased the home and sometime during the previous week someone entered the property. Nothing was taken from the home, but some tools were stolen from a trailer parked in the back.

Break and Enter

(Innisfil, ON) On Sunday, April 9, 2017, South Simcoe Police were called to a rural Innisfil home on County Road 89 near 10 Sideroad. Sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., suspects entered the home and removed a quantity of jewelry, cash and a laptop. Officers are currently analyzing forensic evidence from the scene.
